Mid Century Metal Plant Stand / Drinks Bar

Originally a vintage 1950s metal consumer unit! (fuse box). Repurposed as multipurpose! Hand painted tortoise shell effect to the front, with resin applied on top to the front and sides for a glass-like finish.
The copper pipe frame was made from scratch, then welded. I think it has a decadent Deco look about it. I originally had in mind a plant pot stand, however, friends and family all had different ideas, from a bedside ‘cabinet’, a side ‘table’ next to a sofa, to a little cocktail caddy. I thought those ideas were all cool, hence suggesting multi-purpose! ✨💫
PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔸Cleaned and surface rust removed with wire wool
🔸Primed and painted inside black, with smooth finish metal paint - several coats.
🔸Applied epoxy resin to the front to seal further oxidisation, really enhance the paint effect and natural patina, and achieve a glass-like finish.
🔸Copper frame is made from plumbing pipe, left on my balcony to naturally oxidise and take off some of the bling, then welded.
I wanted to achieve perfect from imperfect (well, that made sense in my mind anyway😅) to fit with the overall piece. I have purposely not sealed the copper frame as I thought I’d leave the option to buff up, or let them oxidise naturally, according to personal preference. This is for indoor use.
*Please be aware that vintage/antique items I sell may have age related marks/nicks/patina, especially depending on the original purpose of the item. I see the beauty and history in these, so I either leave them in, or work with them as feel they add to the overall aesthetic*

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
