Mid Century Teak and Walnut Cabinet

This mid century teak and walnut cabinet had a Deco feel about it, hence up-cycling and styling it in that era.
It has two sliding glass doors, and hand painted artwork to both side pieces, inspired by an old vintage 1930s cigarette case I’ve had for many years (please see in photos).
I drew up the design first, then made it to scale on black card, and cut it out to use as a stencil.
I think this piece has a real sense of decadence and glam about it - a truly unique one-off ✨. Photographed against light and dark decor, to give an idea of how it’ll look with either.

PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔸Old finish stripped and deep scratches/dings repaired
🔸Strips around the rims of the side pieces were cleaned and lightly waxed
🔸Hand painted in Pitch Black eggshell, by Farrow & Ball
🔸Heron birds hand painted on both sides, and gold work interpreting the sun/moon, reeds and grasses were carefully painted using a fine detail brush, a steady hand and plenty of patience! 😅
🔸Glass doors cleaned and buffed
🔸Walnut back piece was very lightly sanded and varnished with a blend of coloured varnished to bring out the beautiful grain, further
🔸 Whole piece was finished with a clear sealant, then waxed for added protection
*Please be aware that vintage/antique items I sell may have age related marks/nicks/patina, especially depending on the age and original purpose of the item. I see the beauty and history in these, so will either leave them in, or work with them to add to the overall aesthetic of particular pieces*

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
