Mid Century Chest of Drawers

Gorgeous mid century chest of drawers - make: ‘Advantance Furniture’. It has my own abstract artwork to the front and sides, and the top protruding drawer has a bark metal effect I created for that extra uniqueness. Photos include a before picture, with its aged yellowing gloss paint!
The top drawer has been lined with a soft pink and metallic textured wallpaper, and the bottom two drawers have been lined with a more neutral gold toned textured wallpaper. The paper has the metallic ingrained into it, so there’s no danger of it coming off on anything you put in the drawers :-). It is SUCH a pretty one-off statement piece, that would look amazing in a bedroom or a more exposed space such as a living room, as pictured.

PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔸 Whole piece cleaned and stripped of thick old yellowing gloss paint
🔸 Custom blend base colour (whites, with a very slight touch of pink and pearl) applied to whole piece (apart from the legs)
🔸 Abstract artwork applied to the bottom drawers and softer whites, pearls and gold abstract artwork applied to the side pieces
🔸 Top drawer has a bark effect gouged into the wood, then gold leaf applied, and a dark glaze added for the faux patina. A resin glaze applied to protect, seal and to create a gold metal-like shine
🔸 All drawers were lightly waxed, buffed and cured. Then all lined
🔸 Hardware was cleaned and a gold wax gild was lightly applied and buffed
🔸 Legs were refinished and painted in off black
🔸 Whole piece was sealed with a top coat, then waxed for added protection and buffed
*Please be aware that vintage/antique items I sell may have age related marks/nicks/patina, especially depending on the age and original purpose of the item. I see the beauty and history in these, so will either leave them in, or work with them to add to the overall aesthetic of particular pieces*

Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
