A gorgeous mid century dresser with its original fabulously shaped mirror and hardware😍.
Every inch of the exterior of this piece has been hand-painted with original design. I wanted to create a sense of calm and serenity 😊. The gold shows up better in the video - metallics are pretty difficult to photograph! The pics also include a before photo to show the transformation, an initial sketch, and some process shots.
The inspiration for the artwork was initially walking under Richmond Bridge at sunset. I thought the overall colour suited the era the piece was made in, as well as the pattern on top / sides and the simplicity of the stylized herons, sun and foliage.
*The mirror has light patina in places due to age*

PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔶 Whole piece cleaned inside and out
🔶 Whole exterior stripped of old finish and finely sanded
🔶 Drawers removed and runners sanded and re-waxed for smooth closure
🔶 Rough sketch drawn up
🔶Artwork applied using brushes and sponges with custom blended paints
🔶 Whole piece top coated, then waxed and buffed
🔶 Mirror cleaned, gold gilding wax applied to edge
🔶 Drawer interior and exterior lightly sanded and waxed
🔶 Drawers lined with a light grey and white wallpaper
🔶 Hardware cleaned and polished

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
