Mid Century Chest of Drawers

This mid century chest of drawers has been transformed with some amazing and original 1960s fabric (before photos and some process shots in album).
Fabric: the pattern and colour palette are fabulous - very distinctive of the mid century period. Tomato reds and tans lay against a dark, bitter chocolate brown background, creating this wonderful eye-catching and stylish design! Finished with a matt varnish to maintain the look and feel of the fabric. The vibrancy also changes slightly depending on the angle you look at it / time of day etc - really lovely.
Top surface: I hand painted a continuation of the design due to not having enough fabric for that area.
Gold top surface edge, back edge and hardware: gold gilded with metal leaf, then softened with antiquating glaze to suite the fabric.
Drawers: (insides) I felt these were perfect the way they were - very typical to the period and really suited the exterior design. So I lightly oiled, waxed and buffed them.
Hardware (knobs): this piece came to me without its original hardware, which had been replaced with modern hardware. So I sourced some gorgeous vintage drawer knobs that I felt better suited the overall style. These were also antiquated.
Legs: these had originally been painted with a wood coloured paint, which looked okay from a distance, but not so pleasing close up. So I refinished them making sure I left some marks of use in and now they look lovely :-).

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
