This is such a cool piece! Originally, it was a 1950s steel toolbox, which I have now repurposed into a plant stand / drinks container.

I have designed and created the frame / legs out of copper piping, so the container fits nicely on top and is removable. The copper has been buffed and not sealed, so either a shiny or tarnished (over time) look can be achieved according to desired preference.

Inspiration for this piece is graffiti art that has weathered over time. It has lots of natural patina which I have kept in and worked with as it brings a wonderful added interest to the overall look.

I have used products that are also suitable for outside use, although, like any painted items exposed to all outdoor elements, they will eventually weather over time. So it would be the buyer’s choice / responsibility if they’d like to use it outside.

This piece is perfect to fill a space in your home that just ‘needs that something’ to create an eye catching area and bring it altogether nicely. Also ideal for smaller living spaces :-).
