Native American Chief Cabinet

This cabinet has a really pretty natural wood grain that I wanted to enhance. (Please see photos including initial sketch, before photo and vintage belt before I turned it into a handle). It almost has a cloud-like pattern! I have always had an interest in Native American culture, which is where the inspiration for the chief artwork came from.
The design is my own and the chief is hand painted in ‘colours’ resembling an old sepia photo. I made the large door knob / handle out of a vintage belt buckle, and made the faux turquoise stone and bezel in the middle, which was inspired by a vintage Navajo silver and turquoise ring I have.
The trim around the top surface is hand painted in an abstract soft pink and black shaman’s eye pattern.
The gorgeous little dream catcher hanging from the handle is authentically made using traditional materials. It is also easily detachable (I tied a little bit of jute string to the hanger part of it, so as not to damage it) from the handle should it be preferred to hang it elsewhere.
This cabinet is so cool and lovely, as well as practical storage. It has two removable shelves inside and is a nice size:

PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔶 Whole piece cleaned and stripped of old finish
🔶 Inside, including shelves - waxed
🔶 Artwork sketch drawn out, then painted on using brushes and a sponge
🔶 Artwork and door front - top coated then waxed
🔶 Furniture oil applied to the rest of the cabinet, then waxed
🔶 Faux turquoise and bezel made, then sealed
🔶 Silver gilding wax was applied allowing the patina to show through. Then buffed to resemble real silver.
*Please be aware that vintage/antique items I sell may have age related marks/nicks/patina, especially depending on the age and original purpose of the item. I see the beauty and history in these, so will either leave them in, or work with them to add to the overall aesthetic of particular pieces*

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
