1930s Fabric Covered Chest of Drawers

This piece is so delightful! It has softly bow fronted drawers, original hardware and gorgeous little walnut Queen Anne legs. I have included the before photos of it, to show the transformation.
It has been covered in an original 1930s fabric with flying cranes, clouds and grasses. The fabric is a gorgeous green and ivory. It’s lightly textured and has a sheen to it when the light hits it.
The inside of the drawers have been lined in a tactile rose gold crushed velvet to complement the colour and texture of the exterior.
It would make a lovely, quaint piece of eye-catching furniture within a home, as well as providing practicality.
*Please note* the exterior fabric used is very old, so will have some imperfections.

PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS:
🔶 Whole piece cleaned inside / out
🔶 Hardware and original finish removed
🔶 Whole piece finely sanded
🔶 Tannin blocker applied to drawers and side pieces
🔶 Layers of shellac applied to legs, finely sanding between coats, then waxed and buffed
🔶 Gold gilding wax applied to edge of feet
🔶 Added and secured metal foot protectors
🔶 Fabric cleaned and prepped
🔶 Fabric adhered to piece
🔶 Custom blended green base paint applied to top edge
🔶 Gold gilding wax applied to top edge
🔶 Gold edge very lightly sanded to allow some green to show through slightly
🔶 Crushed velvet applied to inside of drawers
🔶 Gold metal leaf applied to drawer dovetails
🔶 Textile spray applied to fabric to provide some protection whilst not flattening pile / altering texture.
🔶 Several layers of varnish applied to exterior fabric
🔶 Harware carefully cleaned and polished to bring back the original lustre, then resecured

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
